初心者是指玩家一開始進入遊戲後的角色。他們雖然尚未就職，但仍需要為日後的冒險之旅，不斷進行自我修煉，最終就可從四大職業中，選取一個最適合自己的職業。初心者並未擁有特別的技能，但仍具備如走路、跳躍、坐下、趴下、攀爬等進行遊戲所必備動作，利用這些實用又敏捷的動作勇往直前，不斷探索未知的世界。
